Her Story
From competitive athlete to Doctor of Physical Therapy, Pilates instructor, wife, and mom — every chapter has led here.
"Own It."
Her father gave it to her as a mantra: Trust yourself. Show up. Keep moving. It's the foundation of everything she does — and everything she teaches.

chapter 1
The Beginning
Movement has been part of Dr. Alexia's DNA since childhood. As a competitive gymnast and track & field athlete, she learned early that the body is capable of incredible things when you trust it.
chapter 2
The Pivot
An injury changed the trajectory of her athletic career — but it opened a new door. She discovered Pilates and was drawn to Joseph Pilates' philosophy of the deep connection between physical and mental well-being. What started as rehab became a calling.

chapter 3
The Education
She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, became a board-certified Women's Clinical Specialist (WCS), and completed certifications in both Mat and Reformer Pilates. Her training is rooted in evidence-based practice and holistic care.
chapter 4
The Mission
Dr. Alexia saw women — especially Black women — underrepresented in the Pilates space. She became a voice, a guide, and a safe space. She cultivates an environment where those often underrepresented feel seen and supported, encouraging well-being from the inside out.

chapter 5
The Next Chapter
Now a wife and mom to her son Aiden, she brings lived experience to her postpartum and prenatal clients. She understands what it means to navigate a changing body, to want to feel strong again, and to need someone in your corner who truly gets it.
